A simple t-shirt, a slip dress, or tailored trousers give the jacket room to be the statement rather than competing with it. Cinching the waist with a belt is a good way to reintroduce shape without losing the volume up top, and it’s particularly effective over a dress or a longer knit. Rolled sleeves, bare ankles, and a flat loafer or a heeled boot both work depending on how dressed up the moment needs to be.
