Styling one is mostly about restraint elsewhere. Pink already reads as a statement, so let the rest of the outfit go quieter, tailoring, a plain knit, denim in a good wash. It sits particularly well against black, which sharpens it, and against warm neutrals, which soften it further. For daytime it earns its place running errands, at lunch, on a train, anywhere a hand needs to stay free. For evening, the same bag in the right pink can replace a clutch entirely, provided the leather has enough sheen to read as dressed up rather than casual. The measure of a good one is simple: does it still look considered once the going-out coat comes off.
