I bought a black satin cami from a fast fashion shop in 2019 that went bobbly after one wash and I wore it anyway, for a full year, under a blazer, hoping nobody would notice the texture had gone from liquid to something closer to a crisp packet. A properly good black satin cami is cut on the bias, or close to it, so it moves with you instead of sitting there stiffly like it’s waiting for instructions.
