A shirt dress is one of the most reliably useful things in a wardrobe. It works belted. It works open as a layer. It works as a dress proper with sandals in summer or with knee high boots in autumn. The shirt dress format is almost infinitely adaptable and we think more wardrobes should contain at least two or three. These are the ones we’d buy. Good enough to wear to work. Good enough to wear at the weekend. Good enough to wear on holiday. That’s a lot of good for one piece.
