I spent years thinking blue meant navy and nothing else, which meant a whole decade of pencil skirts that did nothing for my skin and even less for my mood. Blue specifically earns its place here because it reads as considered rather than corporate the way black often does, and it does something for most complexions that grey never quite manages. I was wrong about it for years. Consider this the correction.
