Drape fabric is unforgiving to the manufacturer and generous to the wearer, which is exactly why we care about it so much. When it’s cut well it skims rather than clings, moves rather than sits, and creates a silhouette that looks considered without feeling stiff. The mini length is doing serious work here too. Short enough to feel current and a little bold, long enough to still feel like a dress rather than an afterthought.
