We built this collection around ten real moments worth getting dressed for, the garden party where you want to look effortless, the work event where you need to look polished but not stiff, the wedding guest spot where you refuse to be forgettable. A well pleated dress handles all of them. What we looked for was pleating that actually falls correctly, fabric with enough weight to move rather than flap, and cuts that feel appropriate for occasions with actual stakes. Accordion pleats, knife pleats, sunburst pleats from the waist. Each style does something slightly different and we have opinions about which works where.
